Germain Hotels has named Marie Pier Germain and Hugo Germain as co-presidents of the family-owned business, effective immediately, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its accelerated expansion.

Founded by Christiane and Jean-Yves Germain, Germain Hotels has become a cornerstone of the Canadian hospitality sector. This leadership transition underscores the continuation of a strong family vision and a shared commitment to preserving the legacy built over the last 36 years.

As the company enters a new era with the next generation leading the way, Germain Hotels is poised for further growth, honoring its foundational values while embracing new opportunities for the future. The new leadership team is focused on expanding the hotel network across Canada and internationally, driving innovation, and prioritizing authenticity and sustainable practices—all while maintaining a human-centered approach to hospitality and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Marie Pier and Hugo have been integral to the company’s success for more than two decades, each playing a pivotal role in its national expansion.
